I would like to capture in mpeg2 format that is dvd compliant. I have been using PowerVCR II and if you capture in DVD quality and try to burn it with something like Movie Factory the program tells you it is not a DVD Mpeg file and to please select a dvd compliant mpeg file. What about the file is not compliant, and what do I need to change to fix it? I would like to know if there are other settings in PowerVCR that I can change or if there is another program that will let me do this. Any help would be great. I am trying to work this like a vcr. I would like to record tv while I am away and when I get back burn onto a DVD-RW and watch. If I have to do the re-encoding then that doesn't work for me because I don't want to wait till the next day to watch what I had recorded.
Thanks,
Tony
