I burned a CD with about 100 JPEGs to test my new DVD players JPEG capability. The JPEG are straight from my camera: 1600x1200. The issue that I am having is that the CyberHome 500 shows only about 70% flawlessly.
The rest 30% are corrupted / "chopped off" so that only a top portion of the JPEG can be seen. The bottom part is filled with black. The portion of the visible part varies by picture: I can see 0- 90% of the image. The most usual corrupted image is one where there is maybe half a line worth of picture on the top and the rest is black..
On the PC the corrupted images show no sign of corruption...
The errors occur always with the same images regardless of the name of the file: I can copy a noncorrupted image to the disc 10 times and it will always show flawlessly. And corrupted images are always corrupted..
The interesting part is that I can take an image that is corrupted on the CyberHome 500, open it in PhotoShop and resave it, burn the resulting JPEG on a CD and it will show flawlessly on the CyberHome!
Anybody else experienced the same problem?
