I've made I lot of VCDs but there are times when I load and setup a file to be encoded from usually avi to mpeg using TMPGEnc, the program stops responding. Usually this happens at certain precentage. Then even if I try encoding the came file over it happes again at the exact same spot.
So many times I just give up on encoding movies. My friends told me something about scanning the file for errors using VirtualDub then encoding it but I don't know how to do it.

Please help me if you can
