  1. I bought a Grundig GDV-130 because I wanted to play my DIVX collection on my tv.

But I can't figure out how to make a working VCD.

I have tried following the "how to" on this page. I have also downloaded a VCD as a image file from newsgroup. I have tried burning the "sample vcd" from this page. But nothing worked. My player just spits the cd out.

I have made the player regionfree. I have used several burning-apps. differents type of cd's (both CDR & CDRW)

    Can somebody please help me???

  3. I bought this player because I was told in the store that it was the best player to play homemade cd's also mp3. I have no trouble playing my homemade mp3 cd's. So I am sure that the player can read my cd's.

I have checked my player in the section on this page where you can see if the player is combatible with cd-r and it is...

  4. Hey,

this player plays nearly everything I throw in...

    Even XVCD / SXVCD....

IŽve got only some soundprobs with standard scvd !!!(every 30 seconds the sound drops for half a second...)
    I donŽt know why...

There are also probs with FF and REW ... Yiu have to have the scandata.dat into your bin...

But just for examinig if it works:
Take TMPEG - load your divx.avi in - take the VCD Template an encode...
Take Nero and burn with the VideoCD Template....

    That should work...

The only Problem left is that this Player (like all TYT2000 Clones???) is getting pretty hot....
IŽll take mine back to the store next week because of that.

I have been using a GDV-130 to play high bit rate 3100kb SVCD burned with Nero. No problems other than FF/REW does not work.
I saw the comment about placing a scandata.dat file into the BIN, I think you EXT folder.
I have not been able to get this to work since the 5.5 beta version of Nero came out.

  6. I have tried following what you suggested, but it did not work.

I tried burning the mpeg with both Nero (5.503) and WinOnCd (3..

I have no trouble playing the VCD on my computer. But my Grundig GDV-130 just spits them out.

    Any suggestions??
