  1. can someone please tell me why tmpgenc brings up this error when i try doing a simple mulitplex, it says 4 s packets cause buffer underflow. what does that mean? and how can i fix it? it only says that for a few of the m2v file that i have

    Download bbMPEG as it can multiplex your files without any packet errors or anything like that. It's in the Tools section under "MPEG2 and MPEG1 (VCD,SVCD,DVD) Video Encoders".

  3. did it work for you? i tried to use it but it doesnt open m2v files. there are 2 exe files and they both say avi2mpeg2. are you sure this should work?

    You can pretty much ignore the error. I've never seen an issue with this, and TMPGenc. Apparently most players handle the issue without a problem.

  5. i did try to ignore the error but then the video gets messed up. when i click play it goes stops right away and doesnt play the video at all.

    Does the dics play properly on your PC? Load it into your CD-Rom, and play it. This will help to identify if it's a player problem, or simply a problem with your disc. If the problem is with your player, than follow the instructions in the link above, or use bbMPeg as suggested to multiplex.
