    Searching around for things and I found this:

    If it don't work, it says:
    NEC DVD/CD REWRITABLE DRIVE 2.4X W/SW (White box) = $229

    Is this the new NEC drive that writes both - and + formats? I believe the offical model is ND-1100A.

    It sounds more like the ND-1000A, 2.4x/2.4x DVD+R/RW.

    Looks like an ND-1000A, 2.4x DVD+R and 2.4x DVD+RW, meant for some OEM market. $229? Better get a Pioneer DVR-A05.
