  1. Hello everyone-I've been checking out the previous MPEG2 encoding posts, I have a few more questions. I noticed files encoded with Ulead MovieStudio are Field Order A, files encoded with TMPGEnc are Field Order B. Are analog and DV capture files different in this regard, or is it the way the program encodes the video file? I could not get files encoded with Ulead to work with MyDVD, I thought this could be a reason. If I want to archive analog and DV caps as MPEG2 files, should I save them as non-interlaced, then process an interlaced file for DVDs that will be viewed on a TV?

I'll take this opportunity to thank everyone who has helped me out in the past year. I've probably asked some pretty lame questions, but I appreciate the advice. Happy New Year to all.

  2. Working on fine tuning TMPGEnc templates. Any way to frameserve or import a "project" from a program like Ulead Video Studio 6 into TMPGEnc to customize a MPEG2 file?
