I was looking to into the guide for this and i was wondering, what time limits did this guide really apply to? I know that it is possible to fit movies that are about over 80 to 90 mins over. But i have a 120min file. Does this guide apply to it as well?

I don't know what guide you mean, but if you use TmpEnc and the KVCD-templates (download here http://www.kvcd.net/) You may be able to fit 120min on one VCD. But check the compatability list first, to see if it works with your dvd-player..
