I burned my first VCD and here is what is wrong. It will play normal but at some parts it speeds up. Is there some thing i'm doing wrong?
Also is there any software that allows me to play DVD's on my CD-Rom?
Thanks you guys.

Give us some details about how you made your VCD. what software did you convert it? etc....
No you can not play a dvd in a cdrom drive. If you want a dvd rom you can go herewww.nexthardwareshop.com and get one for around $35 w/ shipping -
It was a DivX. I used Virtual Dub to extract the sound like the guides suggested. Then I used TMPEG to convert to VCD.

Try using this guide and see if that solves some of the problems.
