whats the standard for svcd audio (for the average svcd player) 44.1k mhz or 48k mhz? and whats the difference?
also, which is better for encoding svcds TMPGEnc or CCE and why?

44.1k mhz is standard but 48khz i understand works on most machines ..
the CCE vs TMPGENC debate has been posted here couple 1000 times already , just do a search or start reading ...
if you can afford CCE , then buy it - otherwise use TMPGenc (and buy it !) and still have very high quality ... -
yea i have both. and TMPGEnc seems so much easier then CCE.. but i have heard that CCE can give you much better quality.
