i used sub station alpha and created a *.ssa file
ok, this is suposssed to be a script file and not an actual subtitle file
my question is:
how do i CONVERT IT TO SUBTITLE FILE so i can load it with my video files such as avi or mpeg2 using software like radlight or others... ???
i dont want to mix the ssa file with the avi because it lowers the quality of the vidz
also i have tried this maestroSBT and generated a so called *.son file with a couple of bmp files i dont undestand,
whats next????
im i close for reaching what i want (to have a sub file like the ones i downloaded for movies =) )?????
thans n happy new year all
=)

Install yhis software, there is a program there called Subresync and with Subresync you can easy save it to other formats like ".srt" so you can watch it with your movie without losing quality.
