    I was wondering if anyone knew if those portable vcd players were anygood and it they can play non-standard vcds?

    Hi,

    I have the panasonic lv50.

    Up till now till has played every time of cdr/w I have tried in it.
    The playback quality is excellent when plugged into youe television.

    The on board speakers are a bit tinny, okay when played through headphones.

    Any stand-alone VCD player tends to be much less forgiving when it comes to non-standard discs.
