I tried to make an svcd using virtual dub and TmPGEnc but had this problem. When I tried to make the wav file of the movie as soon as I clicked save an error came up (it didn't stay on the screen long enough for me to read it). I tried just encoding with TmPGEnc but it said this about the audio file "avi can not open, or unsupported". I am using the svcd guide on this site. Any ideas? Thanks

I don't have the Nimo codecs pack, so I'm not sure.
Install DivX and XviD, and your avi should then work.
