I am attempting to convert my DV video to MPEG. TMPGEnc does not recognize the DV format nor does another other DV conversion tool. Anyone have any ideas? I have installed the canopus DV codec.

when you say you have installed the Canopus DV codec, do you mean your DV file was rendered with the Canopus codec?

It was a problem with NeoDVD 3.0 with apparently does not correctly capture as DV Type 1 or Type 2. I have since captured it with another program.
