    Recently, I downloaded a DVD-ripped AVI file from Kazaa. The description says the subtitles are available in English and to search for them by typing a certain phrase. I did that but I can't find the subs! I downloaded another version of the movie (this movie was bad quality) that had English subtitles. But, I want to make the non-subtitled DVD-rip to VCD and I want to add English subtitles to it! How do I do that? I have read the subtitling guides are but they are no help. For some reason, I can't extract the WAV file in VDub. And it comes out choppy when I extract it using the avi2wav program. What should I do?

    Also I forgot to mention that I used Goldwave too to try to extract the WAV but every time I went to open the AVI file, Goldwave would freeze. Maybe it would be better off if I made it without subtitles.
