    My understanding from rec.video.desktop is the vertical resolution
    is more important then the horizontal when capturing. Meaning a 640x480 capture would be no different then a 480x480 or a 640x480 would be superior to a 768x240.

    Am I correct or out to lunch ?

    Oh yoy kenmo, I don't want to start this war but....
    I disagreee with your first statement about 640x480 and 480x480. I agree with your second one and it has everything to do with capturing both fields of a standard 525 line NTSC television display. I'd check out www.lukesvideo.com though because I have been through a few beers right now......
