    I am trying to cut a .avi file at the 35min point but whenever it gets up to 28min I get a message saying

    "Error decompressing video frame 51864:

    An unknown error occurred (may be corrupt data).
    (error code-100)"

    What is the problem? The video plays fine and today I even turned the whole video into a .mpg so I know it is ok. I really need to split this video so what can I dod to stop getting that error messge? I really need help fast.

    Frame 51864 is a bad frame. Use this guide to cut out the bad frames:
