  1. Hi ! ... I was just wondering if anyone out there could help me with my problem ? :

I recently aquired a copy of some home movies that have been burned onto a dvd-r disk. It plays fine on my PC but not on my standalone Goodmans gdvd134 player. The menu loads onto the screen and the counter start going around but it will not play the movie (nor is there any way of selecting an item from the menu)

Is there any way to make my player play this dvd-r disc ?

I'd be grateful for any advice you may have !

  2. FIRSTLY IS YOUR DVD PLAYER FULLY COMPATABLE WITH DVD-R,IF SO THEN COULD IT BE THE BRAND OF MEDIA YOUR USING.
YOUR PC WILL NORMALLY READ ANY BRAND OF MEDIA BUT STAND ALONE DVD PLAYERS CAN BE VERY SENSITIVE TO ALOT OF CHEAPER DISCS ON THE MARKET.
