Is there an editing tool that I can use to manipulate the audio stream of a divX clip? Particularly, I would like to change the volume.

My first approach would be to separate the audio in VirtualDub, load the audio in Premiere with the unchanged video, apply the appropriate audio effect, then export it.
Would it work? Does Premiere support mp3?

There must be an easier way...
