    ok i am looking at getting a canopus ADVC-100 external capture box and ADS PYRO 1394DV firewire card/software bundle. The bundle is
    Ulead VideoStudio 6.0, Ulead DVD MovieFactory Wizard PlugIn, Ulead DVD PictureShow, and Neptune MediaShare and of cource a firewire card.
    $60 for the card pakage $280 for the box
    All i want to do is convert VHS and 8mm to VCD and do a bit of editing.
    Is this all i need or do i need any other software. if i do could someone please point me in the right direction.
    Also if anyone knows any guides that could help tell me where to find them.
