    I've just ried to burn a VCD file for the first time but when I put it in my DVD player all I get is the sound but no picture, it also does this if I put it into my PC too, what am I doing wrong?

    You need to list the steps you took to make the vcd.

    tell us - what was the source (avi?), did u convert and what with, how did you burn.
