  1. In advance, I appreciate any help.....

I've demuxed an avi file using TMPGEnc Plus and I'm trying to multiplex into DVD. The video (mp2) file comes into TMPGEnc find, however I get the following when I try to bring in the audio (wav) file:

"Multiplexing Linear PCM stream to system stream is not supported"

I have downloaded "Goldwav" and "AVI2WAV" and created a new wav file from the orginal avi with the same results.

Again, thanks in advance for any advice......

  2. You are trying to multiplex a wav/pcm stream onto a MPEG video stream?

I think TMPGenc is trying to say it prefers to multiplex other types of audio like MPEG layer 2 audio. If you have a mp2 video file doesn't your movie also have a mpa audio file?

  3. Kitty,

And that's why I'm in the "Newbie" section. Got it, thanks! Now on to the next phase.

  4. You'll need to convert that wav either into an MP2 (recomended) or an MP3. For MP2 audio converting I recomend using the Besweet audio encoder. It makes the best sounding audio for these rips. VERY full sound! Wavs just won't cut it. TMPG wants to access nothing but compressed files in the MPEG tools section.
