    i want a good quality when making AVI->mpeg2....
    high bitrate=high quality, i know but what els?
    motion search time (what is that?)
    and all the little setups that i dont understand them....

    68 entries and non reply...ok...i guess i have to find it my self..or i did already...lucky me i have 2 CPU system so i had to wait "only" 3Hr...

    It will always take 3 hours or more if you want the highest quality. I personally use the Wizard with 2 passes, 10 bits and NO FILTERS.

    The Rui Del ***** guide recommended above is good and has the details you might be looking for.
