  1. Hi Everyone,
I tried to merge 3 (a, b, c) files (MPEG1) with TMPGEnc. All 3 files are the same. MPEG1, same bitrate, same resolution and same audio-sample.
When I try to merge the files TMPEnc gives the error, that the files are not compatible an deletes the two last files.
If I first load b and c and a at last, it deletes the last file with the same error.
    Can please anyone help me?
    Best regards

get the proggie bitrate viewer (listed in tools over <----there) and load up the files one at a time and check their properties, you'll find something different somewhere....

Try mergeing with DV Tool,I find it much more forgiving than Tmpeg.

  4. I'd have a look at the three files. They are exactly the same (incl. the constant bitrate of 1843). I don't know what to do.
I've read in this forum to export the three files to DV with ULEAD. What sort of file will result by exporting as DV? Can I encode this file with TMPEnc? What properties does it have to have?
What I wanted to do is to cut the commercials out of one with ULEAD recorded file. This gives me three cutted files which I want to make a SVCD of. Does anyone know another way to do this?
I tried to cut the big file with TMPGEnc but it does'nt cut frame-exactly.
