Hi.
This may help some people if it's in the wrong forum I'm sorry.
I've got a Wharfdale 750 not the 750s which does play svcds sometimes,
I've downloaded some films off the net in scvd format just to experiment But none of them worked so I ripped them with the newest version of VCDEASY and then created a new svcd image onto disk using VCDEASY's own CDRAO and hey presto they all work eveytime! I've tried burning the same files in NERO but they still dont work. So use VCDEASY It's great watching them in svcd maybe this will work for some other people on there standalone dvd players. The only setting I changed was "settings - s/vcd player - misc - The SEGMENT folder must always be present. Uncheck this and everything worked fine!

Hope this helps some of you
