When making an image in Video PAck 4.00.079 I get this error pop up box while building disk at 70%.
-----CeQuadrat Video Pack--------
C:\windows\temp\vv.scr Line 219:
Illegal MPEG Packet~~~~~~~~~
---------------------------------
Cound this be cause by my TMPG encoded eVCD stream ? I set the audio at 64k to concerve space to fit on 1 CDR. The result mpg plays fine and was burnt with NERO 5.5 ,plays fine in standalone DVD Apex600a. I have all done in VP 4.0 my title menu to go to movie or chapter menu , then I have the mpg in 10 min chapters. I set the menu page with 10 stills and a return to title choice. I rechecked all the nodes for entries and they are the corect tiem for each one @10:00 min apart. I used MPEGSequenceMaker to add seqences to video then remuxed. I don't know what that error is. Is it because my mpg is not true VCD compliant?

    The short answer is "yes."

The slightly deeper answer is your video may be fine and VP4 may accept it, but VP4 is a stickler for audio being to spec.

You are having a different experience in Nero because Nero is designed to be very forgiving for off-spec everything. You could encode a video at one bit per second and Nero will let you burn it as a non-compliant VCD!

If you want to make this sort of non-standard VCD, your only hassle-free option is Nero. If you want to use entrypoints on your non-standard VCD, VP4 is not the way to go. You'll have to explore the VCDImager (+GUI) options.
