Got a question. I have been looking at this forum, but still couldn't find any help on older posts.
I want to burn a SVCD out of an DIVX file. Because the file was too big I splitted it up using Virtualdub. When I watched the splitted file, it was perfect, sound and view were working fine, so I thought lets burn it as an SVCD by NERO.
It took me a long time to encode the video with nero, then it started burning. A bad thing is, when it was finished I tried to put it on to my DVD player, which supports SVCD. The view was perfect, but there was no sound.... What have I done wrong????? Cause the file I burned was perfect, I could hear the sound well. But in my DVD player there's no sound.
I hope you can help me out. Thanks in advance.

I think Virtual Dub uses only one channel when it encodes. Suggest you use TMPGEnc to encode then give the file to Nero.
Hello. -
With TMPG the movie only encodes 15 minuts of the whole movie, then it closes down, encoding succesfull, i don't get any error message Or am i doing something wrong there?

Put the original file back in Virtual Dub and scan for errors. Then let us know what you find.
