  1. Hi, I am still unable to fix the problem with afropic telling me I have not selected input. You can read more here: http://vcdhelp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=131853
I have run many tests and I am not sure what the problem is. I was wondering if I could just get a copy of the sourcecode for afropic and see if I can find the problem in there. I was unable to find source code at the afropic site http://www.anycities.com/user/bilestyle/

    Thanks.

i have no plans on releasing the source publicly any time soon, maybe at some point i will turn it into a CVS project at sourceforge (probably not till its completely in cocoa and not at all applescript)
As below, so above and beyond, I imagine
drawn outside the lines of reason.
Push the envelope. Watch it bend.

Over thinking, over analyzing separates the body from the mind. Withering my intuition leaving all these opportunities behind.

While this is a minor nit-pick, Applescript 'is' part of Cocoa... I think what you mean is when it's entirely Objective-C...
Truthfully, you'll gain nothing by re-writing it in Objective-C other than the knowledge of how to do it... There's nothing truly demanding in AfroPic that would necessitate a re-write, since it's basically just a shell-script creator that launches the terminal.
I doubt Objective-C will give that great a speed boost in tab-switching...
Also, it might behoove you to GPL the source sometime soon and take some of the burden of updates/testing off yourself... there's a lot of Mac users that can write and debug Applescript that can help take Afropic to new heights... and you can still maintain control over what goes into it...
and as they say, many eyes (and keyboards) make light work.
Keep up the great work... Afropic rocks (as if I haven't said that enough already).
