Hello All,
I am very new to the dvd-r scene I just got my first dvd writterand I would like to make back up copys for my kids I have a Apex 1200 they have a Apex 1500 I have had good luck ripping DVD-5's and copying them with DVD decyprtor but not as much luck with dvdxcopy
I am starting to get really fed up with this program some movies want multisession (should I burn multisession) and some dont others will boot up in my standalones fine and get locked up at a insert second disc screen when my rip had no second disc
dvdxcopy's burning program will not work on my pc I keep getting alot of errors so I put the video and audio folders in a different dirrectory and burn them with nero express that came with my dvd writter (cne dyne 105) I had nero 5.5.1 originaly. This nero express has anybody ever used it? It's not like the other nero I can not find a udf or udf/iso option anywhere only to burn data or bootable data? I would like to try other settings to see if that would help. any ways I have ripped alot of dvd's that get either stuck on a 321 studios screen or a insert sencond disc screen ? (When it has no sencond disc) any one have any ideas? oh by the way when I burn with nero I am including the .txt document. I would like to use freeware and do it my self is there any programs where I can get a dirrect copy (no quality loss) I dont care if it is on 2 discs. I would like just to burn the video not all the extras and the menus.
Oh and here is the hard part I only have a 10 gig hard drive
so at any point of time I only have 6 gigs free I have read using some tools need you to copy the whole dvd to your hard drive and then make a image to burn I cant put alot of dvd's on my hard drive I only have 6 gig free at best any advice or tips other then buy ny hard drive space ??
Thanks for any advice![]()
