With a lot of help from this forum I converted my first SVCD file (divX2SVCD). Problem is that DVD2AVI left just a few MB for third CD (my mistake probably, I missed something), so I would like to know if there is some easy way to "shrink" files without new converting. My PC needs 6 to 7 hours to convert 700 MB long divx file.

Yes, you can use VirtualDub as it can cut something out without re-encoding. I hope this guide can help you:

If you are talking that the final product being 700mb files (I'm not exactly sure, as you said "convert 700 MB long divx file") then they should fit, as you can fit up to 800meg (mode-2, which is used for VCDs and SVCDs) on a standard 80min/700meg (mode-1) CD. You can fit even more if you overburn.
My apologies if you are actually talking about how long it takes to encode. Even on fast systems it still takes a while. I have a "fast" system (Pentium 4, 2.4gig, 512meg ram) and it takes me 3 to 4 hours to encode 45 minutes using TMPGenc and 2-Pass VBR to CVD format. -
Sorry, my English writting is realy poor, so I wasn't clear enough: point is that I'v got a three files - two are aprox 700 mb and the third is only 20 MB long. Is there any easy way to resort those files: (I have 1420 MB together and need to "shrink" it to 1400 then cut it to two parts with 700 MB) Shortly, I want to spare one CD and dont want to wait another 7 hours to reconverting original diviX.
Anyway, thank you both, I'm realy new here, so i feast on any information I get.
