Ok, I am using adobe premiere to edit my avi captures from a camcorder then using TMPGEnc to convert this to a vcd compliant mpeg, I have tried this many times but no matter what settings I use in TMPGEnc I can not seem to get decent quality. I mean when there is any movment in my video clip it the picture becomes pixelated, when there is little movement in the video clip the quality seems to be what I would expect at vcd settings but with movement it is crap.
The original video clip comes from a pal video cassete. Under mpeg settings in TMPGEnc I have tried motion search precision at highest quality, I have also tried the svcd template and some of the settings there but still no help with this problem, please someone help me I am stumped as to what to do, I have read all the articles on vcdhelp site as well as other sites and newsgroup searches ut have found no info to help with this problem.
