  1. I tried using TMPGEnc but when I choose the avi file it says file is not valid or supported. I have the patch for TMPGEnc but still no luck. Anyone know what other prog I can use?

  2. There's a helpful tip under the "Problems" section of the "How to encode to VCD with TMPGEnc" guide at the left. It says: "If TMPGEnc gives you an error message when opening AVI, DivX,ASF,SMR,NAV be sure that you have installed the DivX Codec and also try with the Kristal Studio Pack codecs. If that does not work try to use the old TMPGenc 12a." I had this problem also and installed the Kristal pack and it fixed it. Now I can encode away! I hope this works for you too.
