Hello Bilestyle,
Below is the terminal output for a session . I was getting an error with "No such file or
directory" and subsequently **ERROR: EOF in WAV header...
I noticed that a52dec-0.7.4 is looking for an audio file in the location /Users/adminst/Desktop/episode1/BringItOn/BRINGIT/audio.ac3 although I specified /Users/Administ/Desktop/Test on the "Select Input/Output" screen.
I did specify the former directory at one time but not during this session.
Have you run into this before?
Thanks!

was the input file a vob or a normal mpeg? if its a normal mpeg with mp2 audio you need to specify the audio input type in the audio/mplex tab.

Hello BileStyle,
I think I figured it out. I had to recopy mpeg2enc back to the user/bin directory and then chmod the permissions. Must be a common problem as I found numerous posts on that topic. I found that having a terminal window open with top running was helpful in discovering what was going on. Hey, do you notice that OSex takes up a lot of o f cpu cycles even when it isn't doing anything?
Thanks again for AfroPic! -
OSex is a very leaky shoddily written program.. but thats mostly due to the fact that it never even got passed alpha/beta stage. crlf had a great thing going and unfortunately (who knows why) he has appeared to abandon it.
im glad you figured your problem out (makes things easier for me)
i have a feeling we'll be seeing some new improvements in vob ripping soon enough anyways so i'm thinking osex may not be needed anymore soon. (that is unless crlf starts workin on it again)As below, so above and beyond, I imagine
