black & white picture

I try my new dvd player , one film is ok from the other one I get black & white picture. I try to change the color system but no result. The film is SHREQ. The dvd is dvp ns305 from sony.

With my dvd player i got a red, yellow and white leads to connect it to my tv and when i try'ed playing a vcd with them it was black n white but if you use a proper scart lead it work's fine. (Im using one called monster cabel)

I think you may be trying to play an NTSC disk on a player which is multiregion, but is connected to a PAL TV set which is NOT multistandard. Because NTSC output is 60hz, your TV will be unable to resolve the colour correctly.
