  1. hi,
ive been trying for over a week now to join 3 svcd disc into one file to burn to dvd-r,ive manged to get the files off the discs(vcdeasy),join them together (avi, mpeg joiner),now ive got to encode to dvd in tmpgenc,my problem is this, the movie plays fine in powerdvd,as each join plays the audio stays in sync and again on the second join, however, ive used dvd2avi to create d2v file and the mpa file, which i load into tmpgenc, but when encode as soon as the first joins happens the sound go's out of sync.
the files are ntsc,i use film setting in tmpgenc.

    any ideas peeps? please!

  2. OK, need some help here.
I'm having the exact same problem. The only way I got this to work was by using Arcsoft Showbiz editor to actually cut and join the 3 files (after running them individually through TMPGEnc) I hate doing it this way becase the Arcsoft Showbiz is part of MyDVD and it re-encoded the files. The overall file size went from 2.4 gigs, down to 1.9 gigs, and the film now has artifacts.

Any ideas on how to do this right?
