  1. i've been trying to convert a [Quicktime].mov file to a .mpg. i've tried using Adobe Premiere w/ Pan.Mpeg1 Enc, RAD Vid. tools w/ total recorder, and Digigami.

and with no luck, i can't get any results!

i'm trying to convert a small 20mb file so that i can put it on VCD.

i have successfully gotten the .mov to a .avi, but it has no sound.. so i used total recorder to capture it.

i tried using TMPGEnc to put the audio/video files together to produce a .mpg.... but all i get back is the sound.

i need help, i'm gonna go crazy!

  2. I have also been trying to convert mov to mpg. If Rad Video Tools doesnt do the job, try MOV2AVI.

  4. The MOV files I was trying to convert were slightly different, if RAD didn't worked, I tried MOV2AVI and vice versa.

Cinemacraft supports MOV, but it didn't like my files.

TMPGEnc also supports MOV, if you install the plugin, but I found it very very sloooowwww.

Once I had the AVI, I used TMPGEnc to convert to VCD.

You can find MOV2AVI at http://www.mpegx.com or http://www.divx-digest.com.
