  1. I'm using Uleads dvd workshop v1.3, to create a VCD for picture slideshows. When I view the VCD on my (& others) DVD players, the pictures are getting "chopped" or "blocks" are being removed from the pictures and pictures get "mixed" (like parts of 2 or more viewed as 1) for some reason. This seems odd, as it doesn't do it on every picture and it is spuratic and not always the same pictures when played over. The slideshow is just under 60 min. with some music, I'm burning on a CD-R & RW, everything from start to finish is done in Workshop.

Does ANYONE have any suggestions to solving this? Is this common or what? It's not extremely bad, but it does get a little annoying after a few pictures.

    Please HELP!!
    And thanks.

  3. I had a similar problem. I had to go back to v1.0 to get it to burn correctly. Try to go back to v1.0. The other choice is to use one of the tools out there that converts jpegs to an MPEG movie and import the movie. DWS seems to have a problem with photos in slideshows.

  4. Thanks for the suggestion, I tried it, had to remake my VCD, and really thought it solved the problem untill about 30-40 minutes into it, then it all started again.

    Unfortunately it didn't help.
    Anyone else with a suggestion.
    I'm using Win98, P550, 60 Gig HD, 384 meg Ram

    Anyone, PLEASE HELP

  5. I have the same problem. I have tried to play still MPEG (JPEG image) on DVD player, and some blocks of picture are melted with blocks of the picture before.
I tried to burn on VCD2.0 and SVCD with nero and vcdeasy. In all those cases, i have the same problem. My DVD player is a Philips 763SA. But a VCD which is not working on the Philips Player, has worked well on a Sony DVD 310 ! What is your player ? It may come from there.
