I've made my first vcd, got it encoded fine with TMPGEnc, burned it with Easy CD 5 Platinum, but am having difficulties.
First, TMPGEnc will not work without Ace Mega Codec installed, Easy CD won't work with it installed. I had to uninstall it to get Easy CD to work & reinstalled it to get TMPGEnc to work again.
I Got my first movie done by splitting the avi in half with TMPGEnc & then burned with Easy CD onto 2 cds.
However, I'm working on my 2nd movie now & got the first half done but when I go to do the 2nd half, everytime I get to the final screen that says bitrate setting, with the ruler that shows how much of a disk it will take up, it keeps adding the part that I indicated that I now wanted encoded to the entire movie & keeps showing bigger & bigger files everytime I try to set it up to go. It's now showing that the file is 254 minutes. If I start the file encoding, it starts on the 2nd half of the movie where I've indicated it, but it's showing like 7 hrs to encode & the huge file set to be encoded. I can't get the old stuff out of the program that's already been encoded. Help, this is very frustrating.
