Hi, I'm new to his so probably this is just a silly question. I've just converted an avi. file to a mpeg. file and put it on cd-R using TMPGEnc and I also converted the audio of the movie to a wav. file and I used Toolame in the TMPGEnc program to convert the audio. But when it has finished encoding and I play the movie in MPEG format the audio really isn't good. What have I done wrong here?
Thanx in advance,

Here is something I like to do:
After extracting the audio, open up tmpg encoder and select new project and load the wav file but dont load the avi, leave it blank. On the bottom of the screen it will tell you what audio rate the wav is(128, 192 224 ect.)
I then encode the movie as an XVCD or Svcd, But all I change is the audio rate, If you need to that is, to what ever the wav is, that way tmpg doesnt have to change anything. Ive noticed a big difference between the way I am supposed to do it and the way I do. I find that the audio sounds way better.
