    Hi there ..

    I have made some cool VCD's from Divx downloads. I now have a movie downloading which is described as Xvid .....

    Can I use the same methods and software as before (as I have learnt to use from this site) - or do I need to approach this all in a different way...

    From a slightly overwelmed newbie ...

    If it is not an illegal download, then you only need the xvid codec to decompress the video. The conversion method is the same.

    its a 'free' to use concert by PHISH (a cool band i love)...

    I guess I just download the codec from somewhere and then use it with TMPGEnc as before then ??..
