  1. VCDHelp members/visitors:

I am having a heck of a time trying to burn TSCV 0.72 cue/bin files with any version of NERO (yes, I do have a legal version).

With Nero 5.5.3.5 and earlier, I would get an invalid parameter error in the burn message area 9.9 times out of 10 and then a successful burn. With 5.5.4.0 it reads the TSCV 0.72rel1 bin/cue files as 3 x the actual file size; i.e., 600MB file is read in the nero burn window as 1800MB and naturally says my disk is not big enough. I am pulling my hair out with this bin/cue/NERO problem. Anyone had the same experience and know what I am doing wrong.

    system:
    Athlon 950
    Win98SE
    TSCV 0.72 rel 1
    Sony CRX140E CDRW
    Nero 5.5.4.0
    VCDimager 0.7.10Prev4

    Any ideas/help would be appreciated

    Dave, ARS k5oz

  2. I assume this is due to nero not understanding the complete .cue syntax...

try removing all INDEX lines except for the ones starting as INDEX 01 from the .cue file... also remove the FLAGS lines...

then you should end up with a .cue file like nero may understand it... but then, I would not recommend burning bin/cue's directly w/ nero... it may be even better to use the daemontools in combination w/ direct cd copying..

  3. Nero isn't a good proggie for burning CUE/BIN type images.

I strongly suggest CDR-Win, Fireburner or CDRDAO.
