When I try to install the recomended Lame 3.93.1 MP3 Codec into
Win XP, the system complains that the software do not pass the XP test to be certified as Win XP complient, and indicates it could generate bad functioning of devices.
Is this normal?
Should I proceed to install it or there is another copy that is XP complient?

XP throws up this statement with most software. Just go ahead and install it anyway.
Microsoft wouldn't know good code if it jumped up and bit them!
