  1. I just tried my first backup and I had a problem. The DVD in question is Ministry Sphinctour. When I first loaded the movie it said there was a problem with the chapters, I went forward anyway. My final product plays fine on my PC using Powerdvd, but my standalone (Toshiba sd-3750) says that there is a disc error. Has anyone seen this porblem and or have a solution? The media I used works fine on my standalone, I have made many movies that work using this smae media.

  2. You should read the DVDXCOPY forum. This new release really stinks. I really would not recommend using it at all at this time. If you bought the product wait till the new release. If you insist on using the way it is you might be wasting your time.

  3. I've been using DVDXcopy 1.3 since it came out and it's been working flawlessly for me. I have not run into the problem with chapters yet though. Goto DVDXcopy Forum and see if anyone has figured out how to get around that error.

Have you had problems with other movies or just Ministry Sphinctour?
You could always try burning to an RW disk to test it before wasting a DVD-R.

  4. As I stated in another thread, I have had trouble with 1.3. I went back to 1.2.2 and have had no trouble with over 60 disc. If you take the time and look thru the forums on afterdawn you will find others with similar trouble with chapters as I have had the same trouble. "CANNOT READ CHAPTERS CORRECTLY" After I re-installed the 1.2.2 I get the same measage on the same movie but it burned and played fine on set top player. They will have a fix soon I'm sure, but since I am have no trouble with the version I am using, I doubt I will ungrade, IE, if it is working, don't fix it!

Dude, enough said, use dvddecryptor and ifoedit and do it yourself. Free guides are on this site, or doom9.org, or my site (in the signature).

It's that *that* difficult to do

  6. I only use it when I'm in a jam. Its easier to use smart/decryper with info edit. Not to mention faster too!

I have had very good luck with ver.1.3.graysky,if I had 24 hours a day free,I may use Decrypter.Ifoedit more often. The nice thing about DXC is I put the source in my reader and the blank in my writer, click media ready and bam!One thing ,there are 2 udf settings try both. Some have better luck with one or the other.Just remember like usual, people who haven't tried it(graysky)haven't any "REAL" knowledge of it!They just like to make it look like they know more than they do!
