Forgive me if this has been answered before but using the 'search' function and manually going through some of the posts didn't answer my question.
I'm wondering if there is a FREEWARE way to insert still image frames (like a JPG, GIF or BMP) into an AVI or MPG? Basically, what I want to do is insert a "title slide" that would last for maybe three seconds at the beginning of an already existing video clip. I'm sure PaintShop Pro can do some amazing thing but I'm cheap and I don't need any fancy effects -- just a boring static title slide that I create in an image creation program.
I've seen DDClip Pro and MovieXone mentioned here but even after looking around those web sites (and downloading MovieXone's pdf help) I couldn't determine whether they'd do the trick. Does anyone know if they do this image inserting thing? I really do not want to go around downloading and installing various programs only to discover that they don't do what I need.
Can anyone point me to a freeware editor that they know lets you insert images into a video clip?
Thanks in advance for any help,
