  1. I have a SVCD that plays in WinDVD or PowerDVD. However there is a MPEG2 (800MB) on there (of couse) that I want to copy to my hard drive so I can watch the footage with out the CDR (SVCD) and share the MPEG with people.

However when I try to drag and drop into a folder on my hard drive or copy and paste it, I get an error saying:

"Cannot copy AVSEQ01: Invalid MS-DOS function"

I am able to drag and drop other files but not 'avseq01.mpg'.

I have restarted my comp and shut down any progs that may be using it.

    Any help would be appreciated!!!

    Thanks.

Try using VCDGear as it turns the .dat file back into a MPEG file without re-encoding.

    Hope That Helps!!! :P

Try vcdxrip (part of vcdimager). VCDEasy provides a simple front-end.
