Well, i bought a turtle beach santa cruz audio card because I was having problems with static when capturing with my Soundblaster. As far as I can tell, the static is gone now but no matter what I do I am only capturing the left channel. The sound only comes through the left speaker when capturing and playing back captured AVI. I have line in checked in the santa cruz control panel and my regular control panel. I am using virtual dub. I don't want to commit suicide because I have two kids but I'm starting to think about it.

Ok I got that fixed both channels capture now and guess what? I have the same static popping sounds I had with the Soundblaster card. I can't tell you how ticked I am. I didn't have the popping sounds when it was capturing just one channel
