Right i read this
http://www.hometheaterhifi.com/volume_7_4/dvd-benchmark-part-5-progressive-10-2000.html
and form this info the new progressive dvd players will be better giving a better picture.
But most dvd movies that you buy are interlaced, apart from a few.Minority report, road kill, those to being progressive. ( R2 dvds,im in the uk)
So will the new progressive players play the interlaced movies as interlaced or will the output them as progressive?
Also would one need a high-performance CRT/LCD/DLP/D-iLA projectors or a HDTV-ready TVs to get the best picture from a progressive scan dvd player??
I mean say u have a flat ws tv.
Also dvd movie that are progressive ,how do they play back on a none progressive dvd player.
