  1. Can you tell me how to create VCD using TMPGEnc, when i use the s/w it converts AVI to MPEG file. But When i create VCD using Studio 8 it creates couple of directories (EXT, EPEGAV, SEGMENT, VCD) and files (*.VCD) which i can play directly into DVD player. But TMPGEnc is not creation these files. Do I need to use different s/w to convert MPEG into VCD files ?

    Thanks

  2. Creating the VCD directory structure and all the necessary files is the task of your authoring program, p.e. Nero.

  4. Nero is easiest to use. And it doesn't create large temporary files like WinOnCD does.

Nero might be easiest, but is still not a VCD authoring application. VCDEasy is much more versatile (for authoring), and not that much harder to understand. If your CD writer is supported, it can also write the VCD image to disc. If not, just take the output from VCDEasy to Nero, and let Nero do what it's good at: Burn CD's!
