  1. well, I have some divx episodes and I want to convert them to a vcd mpg

i use TMPGEnc to convert it, but I can only make it work by setting up a PAL vcd

my tv uses NTSC so I want to convert it to that, but when I tried it, the video didn't stretch to the whole tv. I figured it had to do with the sizing, but the audio was choppy too

    could someone please help me

like with the right settings and screen size, frame rate and all of that stuff

mainly though I want the video to fit the tv, so please help me with the size factor

  2. What do you mean that the screen size was wrong? Was the source 16:9 letterbox and you want to make a 4:3 'normal' screen movie? That only part of the video showed up and the rest was cut off? That the movie was 'squezzed' into the top right corner of the screen, etc. etc.

What do you mean you could only get TMPGenc to work by setting up a PAL VCD? What happens when you load the NTSC VCD template? Does TMPGenc give some error, does your computer lock up, etc. etc.

We need a little more info. I would suggest that you read the guide to the left under 'Convert' for converting a DivX -> MPEG and see if that helps too.
