  1. Can someome please tell me how to fix my sound problem

I have a movie that plays slightly ahead of the sound (about half a second)

I used SVCD2DVD with CCE SP

Is there anyway I can make the sound in sync with the movie?

Step by step guides would be greatly appreciated

  3. Thanks for your reply, if all else fails I will try your solution
but this is my 2nd DVD ive converted to SVCD

it's also the 2nd time ive had the sound out of sync problem
so im thinking im setting something up wrong during my conversion

I have looked over all my settings on DVD2SVCD and the only setting im not sure about is the
    (bbMPEG Movie offset seconds) tab

by default this tab is set at 2

but it also sais under this setting that
0 is recommended, it can solve desync on dvd players

the movie seems to be out of sync on the DVD Player more than it does on the computer when I run the video file

So can someone pleses advise me to what they set there (bbMPEG Movie offset seconds) at?

Thanks to everyone in advance for there help

  4. I don't know if this is your problem, but i recently ripped an evangelion DVD (anime ) and when i ripped the first 4 chapters (first episode) i found that the first chapter contained four cells (in smart ripper). The first three cells contained about 2 secs worth of who the hell knows, and the last cell was actually the intro (chapter 1). I ripped the chapters with all 4 cells and it made my sound always 2 secs ahead of the movie, so i tried ripping with only the 4th cell in the first chapter and PRESTO! PERFECT

    HOPE IT HELPS

  5. Thanks for your reply NEMO and Tommyknocker if my next attempt doesnt work I will be sure to try it your way.

I have almost got the SVCD perfect by using the

    Movie offset seconds tab.

The default setting was set to 2, but that was out of sync
(not on the computer just on the home DVD Player)

Then I tried the recommended setting of 2
it changed the out out sync problem (made it worse)

So I then tried to set it at it's Maximum setting of 5 and its
very close to perfect just slightly out of sync.

I will now re try it on the 4 setting and see how I go.

I have noticed there is also a Cd overlap 2 seconds setting on the
bbMPEG tab that I have not used . Can someone please tell me what this
    setting is for?
